“Addressing National Challenges with Improved Development Patterns“
The talk focuses on select critical issues faced by the Middle East, China and the United States, and the role of improved development patterns in addressing these challenges.
Chuck is educated and practices across allied disciplines: planning, urban design, architecture and landscape architecture. He leads Design Workshop’s Los Angeles and Dubai offices. Chuck was recently responsible for the design of eleven new housing communities across Saudi Arabia. Prior to that Chuck spent a year in Guangzhou China leading a collection of large-scale projects. Chuck agreed to serve in these roles with the condition that the work be elevated to address critical national issues, most notably economic, environmental, community and personal health.
