Kim is founder and owner of KSA Interiors, an interior design, space planning, environmental graphics and facilities services firm that celebrated their 32nd anniversary in August 2014. KSA Interiors’ design expertise includes corporate, university, assisted living, and healthcare design for federal, state, and private business.

In 1977, Kim received her B.S. in Interior Design from Virginia Tech. She has been recognized as the Virginia Tech Alumni of the Year for the College of Human Resources and an Outstanding Alumni for Women at VA Tech.

Kim is the current president of CCVID, Council of Certified Virginia Interior Designers, that is committed to educating our members, the public, and elected officials in regards to the impact of interior design on the health, safety, and welfare of the public.


Erin C. Riggan, CID, ASID, LEED AP

Studio Leader & Sr. Interior Designer

Erin is the Studio Leader and a Senior Interior Designer at KSA Interiors in Richmond, Virginia. She graduated from the School of Architecture + Design at Virginia Tech in 2008 with a B.S. in Interior Design. Her design specialties include Higher Education, Corporate and State & Local Municipal projects. With a passion for her clients, she enjoys working with each and every one to provide functional and beautiful spaces for employees, students & guests alike. Erin is currently the Financial Director for the Virginia chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Erin is a Central Virginia native who returned to reside in Richmond following graduation from Virginia Tech.


Kelley O’Leary, Allied ASID

Junior Interior Designer & Marketing Coordinator

Kelley is a Junior Interior Designer and Marketing Coordinator at KSA Interiors in Richmond, Virginia. She graduated with a B.S. in Interior Design in 2013 from Virginia Tech. Her multi-faceted role at KSA allows her to support the Interior Design Studio and the Marketing and Business Development Team. She has enjoyed working on Corporate and Higher Education projects, as well as project opportunities for Experiential Graphic Design (EGD) and branding. Kelley’s experience with graphic design and web design has allowed her to help with Marketing and Branding initiatives throughout the company. Kelley enjoys working with students and will be co-chairing ASID Student Career Day for the second time this year. She also serves as the ASID Virginia Chapter Website Coordinator.
