Public Practice has change dramatically over the last 40 years for Landscape Architects, we will explore the breadth of the practice and recognize the challenges for the future of public practice.
Predominantly in public practice, Ms. Crump career has spanned from planning to multi-disciplinary engineering, to landscape construction and nursery work. Her work in the public sector includes parks and recreation, environmental permitting and development review, and local, regional and CPTED planning. Her current work includes state park master planning, administration of the VA scenic river and byway programs, and as the scenic resources specialist for the Virginia Outdoors Plan. She has been active with ASLA at the local and national level.
