Michael Laviano graduated Virginia Tech in 1992 having won the Best Thesis Prize. Michael has been practicing architecture in New York, London, and California. Since beginning his professional career working on the Tokyo International Forum for Rafael Viñoly, his career has increasingly been focused on large-scale civic buildings and urban masterplans, including most recently the London 2012 Olympic Park and the Sacramento Kings Sports and Entertainment Center.  Michael currently works at AECOM in their San Francisco office.
